PETE WALDROOP, CEO
With over 27 years of experience in software, consulting and the energy business, Pete has helped clients, such as ExxonMobil, Shell Oil, Anadarko Petroleum, Targa Resources and many others, design and implement better software solutions. Prior to joining our team in 2010, he served as a partner at Capitalize Consulting, was a founder and EVP at Quorum Business Solutions, and was the original developer for TIPS in 1992 while at Andersen Consulting — now Accenture. Pete holds a degree in electrical engineering from Oklahoma State University.
MICHAEL TETZLAFF, COO
Michael earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Kentucky and holds an MBA from the Northwest University Kellogg School of Management. He began his career at LaSalle Bank in Chicago, later transitioning to an asset management firm, leading efforts to optimize internal processes and manage data flow across the organization. Michael joined our team as a senior consultant in quality assurance and support and now has over 15 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, information systems management and capital markets.
MARK HILL, CRO
Mark brings nearly 30 years of experience as a senior executive, sales leader, and technology thought leader to W Energy Software. Prior to joining the company, he was Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at P2 Energy Solutions and served as Vice President of Sales at industry leading Commodity Management provider Allegro Development. Hill has also held leadership, sales and technology positions at Ikon Science, Divine (formerly Sagemaker) and leading energy companies including Calpine and Dynegy.
GREG POST, EVP of Upstream
Holding both a bachelor’s in management and finance from Illinois State University and an MBA in finance from Texas Christian University, Greg has over 30 years of experience in delivering core business application solutions. The last ten of those years have been dedicated to the upstream segment of the oil and gas industry. He has held senior-level professional services positions with McGladrey, PwC, IBM and a variety of internet startups, and worked for Quorum Business Solutions as a client services executive in their upstream consulting group.
MICHAEL FERRANTE, VP of Transportation
Michael earned a B.S. in business administration from Oklahoma State University. Since joining our team, he has helped build various modules within our software, ranging from marketing to gas balancing to land administration. Michael has lead implementation projects in many business areas of the industry and is currently focused on expanding the Transportation practice area with new pipeline and terminal clients.
DAVID CRAIG, VP of Upstream Implementation
David has over 20 years of experience in Upstream Oil & Gas spanning the IT strategy, design and implementation disciplines as well as extensive experience in data warehousing, business analytics, revenue accounting, production accounting and land applications. He earned a BA in Business Administration and Management and his MBA from Baylor University but his favorite title is “Best Dad in the World” which was bestowed upon him unanimously by his children last Father’s day.

AISHA GHUMAN, VP of Marketing
Aisha is a seasoned marketing leader with a 20 year track record of executing innovative Go-To-Market strategies and demand generation programs that drive brand awareness and company growth. Prior to W Energy Software, Aisha held multiple marketing leadership positions at both public and private software companies where she enjoyed building and managing high performance marketing teams that were tightly aligned with sales. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and computer science from Clark University.
NATHAN MATTHEWS, VP of Technology
Joining our team in 2008, Nathan started as a developer, designing and building our financial integration software. Since then, he has continued to guide the design, architecture and implementation of our suite of products. Nathan studied computer science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
CODY HENDERSON, VP of Business Analysis & Support
Since joining W Energy Software in 2014, Cody has built the business analysis team from the ground up. He leads our client support and business intelligence practice areas. Previously, he served as a financial planning analyst in the upstream oil and gas sector. Cody holds a master’s degree in accounting and a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Tulsa.
Codie Mullins, VP of Development and DevOps
Codie earned a B.S. in Management Information Systems from The University of Tulsa. He began his career at ConocoPhillips, before moving on to consulting to help companies integrate disparate systems. Codie has over 12 years of experience in enterprise IT software development, leadership, and data integrations. Joining in 2013, he helps oversee the design and implementation of the software suite.
Hayes Luger, VP of Planning and Execution
Hayes Luger has over 15 years of experience in the Financial Services and Energy sectors specializing in operations, strategy, and integration. Prior to joining our team, Hayes was responsible for leading the global operations practices at SunGard Consulting and Allegro Development. Hayes will support and oversee the continued success of our implementations while focusing on the PMO (project management office) and operational aspects and activities as we scale for growth. In her free time she enjoys traveling and following SEC football.
Carla Haggler, SVP of Services
Carla brings over 25 years of energy experience and exceptional leadership skills to W Energy Software. Prior to joining W Energy, Carla held multiple positions at ION (Allegro Development) from consultant, pre-sales and most recently she was the Sr. Professional Services Director for North America where she was responsible for implementation and delivery success of a suite of commodity management solutions. Carla has also held leadership, consulting and operation positions at Pepco Energy Services, PG&E Energy Trading and Dynegy (formerly NGC). Carla is known for delivery excellence and her commitment to customer satisfaction. She earned a B.S. in Accounting from Bridgewater State University.
Danielle Villegas, VP of Product
Danielle has over 15 years of experience in energy software development covering product management, systems development, training and customer technical support. Before W, Danielle served as Senior Director of Product Operations at Allegro Development, a commodity trading and risk management software company, where she held various other roles in product management, product marketing and consulting during her tenure. Prior to Allegro, Danielle was an IT advisor for KPMG. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Millikin University.
